SHOWCASE INFORMATION
This instruction guide is to help both you and OUTLAW make your showcase easy to put together and run as smoothly as possible. There is absolutely no charge to the showcase performer whatsoever. In return for performing for OUTLAW ENTERTAINMENT, you will receive a personalized OUTLAW t-shirt and a CD of your performance in a custom CD jewel case. This is our way of saying...thanks!
Your showcase will run up to 30 minutes. Some singers have a very limited repertoire, while others have a very extended one. Regular karaoke will be held before and after each showcase and the showcase will begin a 8:00 PM, except for special circumstances.
Showcases are generally held once each month and on the last Wednesday of each month, again except for special circumstances.
What OUTLAW ENTERTAINMENT will need from each showcase participant is the following:
1. A picture of the performer for custom flyers that OUTLAW will design, print and hand out to anyone who wishes one. We will also print extra copies for the showcase performer to hand out personally, if they so desire.
2. A list of the songs that will be performed during the showcase.
A. This list should be in the order that they will be performed
(including one encore song - noted as encore).
B. The name of the artist (many songs are performed by more
than one artist). This ensures that your song is the version
that you are familiar with.
C. Your list should also state the name of the disk maker
(DK, Sound Choice, Chartbuster, etc.), again to ensure
that you get the version you are most familiar with.
D. Any "key change" that may be required.
We will download the selected songs and load them into the show's laptop computer so no disk changes (which tend to slow down a show) are needed. The song list should be given or emailed to OUTLAW ENTERTAINMENT as soon as possible and no later than 1 week before the showcase.
3. The last item that is required from you is your t-shirt size. We, of course, want your personalized t-shirt to fit you.
